Sgt. First Class Lisa Krisko, a retention non-commissioned officer from Pheonix, is in Atlanta learning the fundamentals of social media. Krisko and six other retention NCOs are taking on a new challenge: create social media programs to help educate Soldiers, Families, and the public of the benefits of staying in the Army Reserve.
Krisko volunteered for the assignment with the goal of helping tell the Army Reserve story and the stories of individual citizen-warriors. Watch Krisko explain why.
The training is in preparation for the April 23 National Capitol Re-enlistment Ceremony, an annual event in Washington D.C. where some 60 Soldiers will take the oath of re-enlistment in their nation’s capitol. Krisko and others will blog, chat, post and tweet from the event.
