Staying Army Reserve, back in the east coast

SPC Kevin Caradonna serves with the 424th Engineer Company in Rutland, VT. He initially enlisted Army Reserve in 2005, then went active duty in 2007 with the 56th Engineer Fort Richardson, AK. After three years active, he chose to Stay Army Reserve because it was a way to be in the military while pursuing school.

While on active duty, SPC Caradonna deployed to Iraq in 2008 and completed his three year active obligation. Jessica, his wife, wanted to go back to the east coast. Joining the 424th was a way to remain in the military, move back close to home and pursue college.

SPC Caradonna plans to stay an engineer as a 12W (Carpentry/Masonry.) For his civilian job he works security at Watervliet Arsenal and is pursuing a History degree.
