SSG Joel Davis has been in the Army Reserve for 14 years, 4 of these years were Active Service done through mobilizations. He has an older brother, who, as told by him is very proud of what he does, and a younger sister, who might be jealous, but is also proud.
His mother Mrs. Cloretta Davis, who works for the Red Cross, says:”We always worry”. Since they receive the news firsthand at the Red Cross. “If anything happened and we receive some news from certain areas, I quickly try to make contact, just to make sure he is allright” she said.
“I think he did the right thing when he joined”, she quickly replied, “he’s a military brat”. And then she continued with a smile, “I always say that’s the best thing he has done” and then added “Being a Soldier, he has been extremely good at. “His brother is with the Marines, and has tried to make him leave the Army and join them, but he has refused.
