The Army Reserve Quality of Life and Family Readiness Conference is an annual event that informs select military families about programs and services that are available in country and Soldiers are deployed.
Experts were present to explain support tools, such as; identification cards, TRICARE insurance, employer support and safety/security.
Fifty-eight Soldiers and their families were selected for this year’s Quality of Life & Family Readiness Conference based on their re-enlistment eligibility. Soldiers within their 12-month window for re-enlistment who have decided to continue serving were eligible. One representative Soldier and family from each State and US Territory were selected. Re-enlistment is a component of the Quality of Life and Family Readiness Conference because part of the events include the National Capital Re-enlistment Ceremony, where Soldiers are reenlist en masse in Washington, DC.
