However, I chose to remember September 11, 2001 as the day America united again.
I chose not to replay the scenes of that day but to remember the families of those who lost their lives that day and for those who gave their lives in the years to follow.
Hatred and anger divide and destroy, but love builds and multiplies.
So heed the call, and walk in the spirit of unity by continuing to serve every day. Look for the opportunity to be a doer, to be a giver, and serve our communities.
And never, ever forget that we not a divided, but a United States of America!
