    Local Veteran needs your help;
    We would first like to take the opportunity to thank you for taking the time and reading our story. Valerie and I are top 5 finalists in a $25,000 Dream Wedding Give a way; we can only win if we get the most votes out of the 5 finalists. There is no catch and no one is trying to sell you anything. We simply ask that you read this post and help us achieve our dream. Each person can vote once per day for us at http://www.canbyherald.com.

    Valerie is in college and will be graduating in June, saving for a wedding is just not in arms reach. Between student loans and everyday expenses, especially in this economy, having a wedding is just a dream, for now. We found out about a $25,000 giveaway from Valerie’s sister who is getting married in July of 2012. Helping her plan for her big day is making us more and more anxious to take the great commitment of marriage.

    In addition, Michael has been on two tours already to Iraq. There has been a recent discussion that he may be sent to Afghanistan, leaving Valerie and his two and a half year old child, Jasmine behind. There is nothing we want more than to make the commitment of marriage before he gets deployed. We have discussed maybe just going down to the county courthouse and simply filling out forms and standing in front of a judge, however marriage to us is more of a spiritual and religious package than it is just having the legal pieces fit together. What a dream it would be to have a beautiful fairytale wedding with our family and friends by our sides!
    Finally, thank you for reading our story and getting to know a small piece of our lives. This opportunity comes but once in a lifetime and given the circumstances, we feel that this may be our only chance for the wedding of all weddings.
    PLEASE vote for us at http://www.canbyherald.com. You can vote once per day per IP address, please spread the word and help this veteran and his family. Voting ends March 31, 2012

    Thank you,
    Valerie Stern and Michael Tucholsky
