The Competition

Thirteen, Army Reserve Career Counselors (ARCC) from around the country are here at Fort Benning, Georgia to compete for the title of FY 14, Secretary of the Army, Army Reserve Career Counselor of the Year.

ARCC’s primary duties are to reenlist Army Reserve Soldiers within their assigned units, transition and affiliate Reserve Component Soldiers within the Individual Ready Reserve (IRR) and Select Reserve (SELRES), prospect for Army Reserve Officers and Warrant Officers, recover Unsatisfactory Participants, provide Troop Program Unit (TPU) career management, and support the Transition Assistance Program.
