Sgt. Jorge E. Arrizon

Quality of Life & Family Readiness Conference and National Capitol Reenlistment Ceremony

Sgt. Jorge E. Arrizon, from Chisago, Minnesota, enlisted in the Army Reserve in July 2005 to serve his country.  When asked why he chose to serve in the military, Sgt. Arrizon proudly claims that since he was a child, that has been his desire.

He is assigned to 353rd Transportation Company in Buffalo, Minnesota.  From July 2008-July 2009 he deployed to Iraq as an 88M (Truck Driver).   The comraderie and overall experience of deployment is his most honored and memorable experience.

Sgt. Arrizon is a father of two children.  He has an 8 year-

old son and a 7 year-old daughter.  In his free time he enjoys hanging out with his family.  Running is another passion of Sgt. Arrizon’s.  He is an artist as well – he enjoys airbrush painting and displays his artistic abilities on vehicles.

This is Sgt. Arrizon’s first time in Washington, D.C. and he is looking forward to the experience as well as the special events and tours that are planned throughout the week.
