I enlisted in the United States Military as a 92Y38, Unit Supply Specialist Instructor, on 17 January 1990, with a secondary MOS of 25U38, Signal Support Systems Instructor, teaching soldiers basic signal skills needed to be a signal soldier; which includes, computer networking, field expedient computer repair and radio communications with some of the best communication equipment available in the world.
My military awards include: Army Commendation Medal, National Defense Service Ribbon, Army Achievement Medal (4 Bronze Oak Leaf Cluster), Army NCO Professional Development Ribbon, Army Service Ribbon, Kuwait Liberation of Kuwait Medal Ribbon, Saudi Arabian Medal Ribbon for the Liberation of Kuwait, Good Conduct Ribbon, Parachutist Badge, Expert Rifle Shooters Badge.
I was born and raised in Clovis, New Mexico, graduated from Clovis High School on 11 May 1987 and attended Eastern New Mexico University from 1987-1990.
Outside of the military I am a Water Utility Chemical Technician, I test the water throughout the city of Albuquerque, New Mexico to insure it remains in Federal and State compliance in regards to chlorine and fluoride levels.
My hobbies include: spending time with my family, both immediate and extended. They keep me grounded and give me their full support in all my endeavors.
