Playing in the Rain in Iraq

Why I Stay Army Reserve

“I am continuing to serve my country because I love being in the Army and I am looking more towards my future of retirement. I am proud to call myself a Soldier and I do not know what I would do without the military in my life.”

Staff Sergeant Rose, Alesha

I enlisted into the United States Military as a 42A3O, Human Resource Specialist, on 30 September 2002, and currently assigned to the 345th Combat Support Hospital in Jacksonville, FL.

My military awards include: ARCOM (2), ARCAM (2), National Defense Service Ribbon, Good Conduct Medal, Overseas Service Ribbon, Iraq Campaign Medal, NCO Professional Development Ribbon, Army Service Ribbon, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Armed Forces Reserve Medal w/M device, Army Meritorious Unit Citation

I was deployed to Iraq where I was the S-1 NCOIC for battalion of a combat support hospital.

I graduated from the University of Phoenix with an Associate of Arts in Business in 2008 and currently studying at Walden University for my Bachelor of Science in Business: Human Resource Management 2011.

On the civilian side, I am Branch Administrator for Canon Business Solutions-process orders and run the administrative side of the branch. I am also a Beachbody Coach for Beachbody-helping to end the trend of obesity through Beachbody products and staying physically fit and healthy.
