I am Sgt. Shelton Stowers of the 355th Minimal Care Detachment. This is my second reenlistment as I have spent 13 years in the Army Reserve. In these 13 years I have trained as an Army Medic and utilized the training to help on the civilian side. I was deployed in 2010 and returned home with an extra Medical Bag that I donated to a local police department along with training them how to use the supply. I also have helped with my Father in Law who was diagnosed with lung cancer, taking him to appointments for chemotherapy and administering his shots. I am thankful that the Army has given me skills to use so I try to give back as a way of appreciation.
