Sergeant 1st Class Brandon K. Felton entered the Army as a 19K M1A1 Armor Crewmember. Upon completion of one station unit training, he was assigned to Fort Hood, TX and in February 2003, he was deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, and attached to the 1/501, 101st Airborne Division in Mosul, Iraq.

Upon redeployment, he received orders for recruiting duty and held the distinction of honor graduate of his Army Recruiting Course class. He was assigned as a recruiter with the Dallas Recruiting Station in Lubbock, TX. As a recruiter he received all USAREC awards to include the Army Recruiting Gold Badge, Army Recruiter Ring, and the distinguished Glen Morell Award.

He is currently assigned as an Army Reserve Career Counselor in Lubbock, TX. Sergeant 1st Class Felton is currently completing his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration at Texas Tech University. In addition to his duties of an active Army Reserve Soldier, Sergeant 1st Class Felton is married and has two children.
