Sgt. 1st Class Tina M. Drew is assigned as an Officer Accessions Career Counselor with 7th Battalion, Army Reserve Careers Division, Fort Lawton, Washington. Her past assignments within the Command include Assistant Operations Noncommissioned Officer and Army Reserve Career Counselor.
Sgt. 1st Class Tina M. Drew entered the Army Reserve in December 1987. Prior to her September 2001 assignment with Army Reserve Careers Division she served as a 77F, Petroleum Specialist and 67U, CH-47 Helicopter Repairer Specialist with A Co 6/159th Aviation Regiment, Everett WA. Sgt. 1st Class Drew mobilized to Camp CANARGUS, Haiti with A CO 5/158th Aviation Regiment from Oct 1995 – March 1996 for Operation Uphold Democracy. She remained assigned to 5/158th Aviation Regiment until July 1997, then from August 1997 through August 2000, assigned to United States Army Recruiting Command in the Seattle Recruiting Battalion. In September 2000, Sgt. 1st Class Drew transferred to the 6250th USAH, Fort Lewis, Washington and served there until her assignment with Army Reserve Careers Division. Sgt. 1st Class Drew served as a TPU Career Counselor from September 2001 through January 2004 with duty in Pasco, WA and in February 2004 joined the AGR force as an Army Reserve Career Counselor with duty in Yakima, WA.
While a TPU Soldier Sgt. 1st Class Drew worked in her civilian job for Microsoft Corporation from 1991-1997 holding positions in phone support, Executive Administrator to the Excel Vice President, and Administrator to the Usability Group. She also worked for the non-profit, Allied Arts Center of Yakima, from 2001-2004 in charge of payroll, payroll taxes, accounts payable and accounts receivable.
In addition to these achievements, Sgt. 1st Class Drew is working on a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration. She has two sons, the oldest is serving his country in the Army and deployed to Afghanistan the youngest varsity athlete and Honors student.
