Sgt. 1st Class Katrina H. McNeil is a licensed North Carolina Property & Casualty Insurance Agent who worked at High Point Bank & Trust Company for nine years before becoming a stay-at-home mom in March 2009. She is an active volunteer at Montlieu Academy of Technology as the Vice President of the Parent Teacher Student Association (PISA). Currently she is assigned as an Army Reserve Career Counselor (ARCC) in Area 5, 4th Battalion, Army Reserve Careers Division (ARCD) with duty in Winston-Salem, N.C.

She enlisted in the Army January 1995 as a 92G, Food Service Specialist, during her time on active duty; she was stationed in Fort Campbell, Kentucky. She transitioned into the Army Reserve in that same Military Occupation Specialty (MOS), to the 991st Transportation Company in Salisbury, N.C. McNeil also held the position of Senior Drill Sergeant with 1/485th High Point, N.C. and was mobilized for one year at Fort Jackson, S.C.

McNeil has completed the Food Service Specialist Course; Primary Leadership Development Course;, Basic Non-commissioned Officer Course; Advanced Non-commissioned Officers Course; Drill Sergeant Course; Division Combat Lifesaver Course; Field Sanitation Team Training; Combative Training Course; Cadre Tactical Training Course; Air-Assault Course; and Army Reserve Career Counselor Course.

Her awards and decorations include 1 Army Service Ribbon; National Defense Service Medal with a silver star; 2 Army Achievement Medals; Air-Assault Badge; Driver Mechanic Badge; 1 Good Conduct Medal; Non-Commissioned Officer Professional Development Ribbon with #3; Armed Forces Reserve Medal with “M” device; 1 Army Commendation Medal; Global War on Terrorism Service Medal; Drill Sergeant Badge and Army Reserve Career Counselor Badge.

McNeil has completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. In addition to her duties as an Army Reserve Soldier, she serves on several auxiliaries at her church.

McNeil and her husband are the proud parents of five children.
